It is coming down to some sad news...if the health issues are going to continue for me then I am injured to my soul that the Crew may have to shut down permanently.  For the tax issues alone are in place as long as we keep an opened ended deal we are losing in  a big way... the accountant charges $200 to do the taxes which makes no sense to continue to pay him when we are only bringing in that much or less while I am trying to get back into good health. I will continue to fight but last years income was a whopping $8.04 and we still owe the balance of the $200 to the accountant. And here we are in a new tax season to have to pay$200 against $0.Unless some body steps in to support us on a continuous basis we may have no other choice...wish us well and search your hearts on what we should do. 
And to think all of this due to illness and not enough volunteers that are reliable to help carry out our wishes to help others.

Fila Service Crew and Dear Friend, Joshua M. {Exec. Crew Chair} has been hit with another sad and heavy toll on Our hearts...

On the evening of July 7th - Dillinger M. – Birth Right Crew Member - 3 weeks shy of Our Matriarch's 1 year date of eternal peace, Dillinger succumbs to a long and difficult 8 month battle against Lymes Disease and is reunited with Dainy, his Mother.

For the moment We shall be on call for Josh M. and out of phone range otherwise and may not be visibly here; however, you can leave a message and of course We will get back with you as We always do.

In the meantime please hold Josh M. and Marissa in your prayers.

Well, the hand surgery is what it is, and that is ok…

now we are on the topic of a knee replacement. We had 

hoped it wouldn’t come to that, but 

such is life and on we go.

Meanwhile, Fila Flying Fingers is still up and running 

according to schedule which is posted under calendar. 

Next week we are taking it to the water… 

I also found out and interesting bit of info – we have 15 

followers that did not make themselves known publicly…

that is why all this time I thought it was just us 4… the 

same thing is happening on GoodSearch…49 supporters 

was the last count I took, I believe it was 49… man funny

 how you find things while healing from surgery. LOL.

As WE, Fila Service Crew, are the Regional Chapter of I A A D P,      {International Association of Assistance Dog Partners} We may decide which local trainers are acceptable for use in training Service Dogs.

It is Our duty to inform Our Crew Members and the General Public of the laws, meaning of those laws, as well as restrictions and exclusions of Service Dogs according to D O J, ADA, C D C, to also include Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act and the U S Department of Health and Human Services.

There are some SERIOUS ISSUES that are killing our veterans - LITTERALLY!
Scheduling appointments for Veterans is all over the news these days due to the lengthly wait times between 1st diagnostics to the actual appointment time it is running 6 months later - a second appointment book is being kept to show that there is NO LAPSE in time - this is utterly outragious because there are many of Our VETERANS dying while waiting for help from the VA Medical system...

The surgeries are 3...1st is done, and Gina is in recovery mode: a shifted bone in her left hand was removed as well her carpal tunnel surgery where Dr House removed the portion of 'bad' bone replacing it with the nerves and tendon from the wrist:
She still needs the right done, however, we are thinking to do the knee 1st but that is all in Dr. House's hands at the moment.
